Description:
The American Cancer Society (ACS) and Extended Stay America (ESA) are proud to partner once again to provide free and reduced-rate hotel stays for patients with cancer who are receiving treatment away from home.
The Extended Stay America lodging program will launch with a new, self-service platform for eligible patients. Patients who live more than 40 miles from the treatment location and have a demonstrated need for lodging assistance to receive cancer treatment will be eligible for the program. Once ACS has assessed patient eligibility, we will provide detailed instructions to the patient on how to book reservations for free or reduced-rate rooms. Patients must have access to the internet and a credit/debit card to complete the online reservation.
Patients who have a demonstrated lodging need for treatment-related travel can contact ACS directly at 1-800-227-2345 to connect with our ESA lodging program.
